10th Annual National Coming out Day Luncheon Speakers: Dr. Stan Hill

Dr. Stan Hill became the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus' fourth Artistic Director on August 1, 2000, after serving 11 years as Artistic Director of the San Francisco Goy Men's Chorus.
A native of Southern California , Hill earned his B.M. and M.M. degrees in conducting from California Slate University-Fullerton. He received his doctorate From the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As a dynamic conductor, arranger, clinician, and vocal coach, Hill's career spans the elementary, secondary, university, church, and community choral spectrums.
Hill has conducted every configuration of vocal ensemble and chorus in concert, with every combination of instrumentation from small ensembles to full symphony orchestra.
During Hill's tenure, the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus has received a number of honors, including the 2003 Brian Coyle Leadership Award for Education & Outreach, presented by the Human Rights Campaign. It was named Lavender's 2004 Outstanding GLBT Chorus.
