SOME SONGS LIFT YOU. SOME SONGS HEAL YOU. SOME SONGS SPEAK TO THE DEEPEST PARTS OF WHO WE ARE.

In Wicked Wisdom, we celebrate the genius of legendary composer Stephen Schwartz, whose music dares us to dream, challenges us to care, and reminds us that even the most misunderstood voices can rise, shine, and soar.

From the powerhouse defiance of “Defying Gravity”—a rallying cry of resilience and liberation—to the gentle hope of “Beautiful City,” where shattered worlds are slowly pieced back together, to the heartfelt plea of “God Help the Outcasts,” echoing with compassion for those seeking shelter and belonging—this is music that moves.

But that’s only the beginning.

The centerpiece of the concert, Songs of Wisdom, brings the beloved book Old Turtle to life in a breathtaking choral-orchestral work. With a full orchestra, over 200 voices, the radiant harmonies of See Change Treble Choir, and the magical storytelling of In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, this one-of-a-kind performance transcends words. It’s a symphony that explores society, the environment, and the spirituality we share.
